Your data protection is our zero priority. The Email2SMS.ro platform was built according to the "Privacy by Design" principle.
1. Data Anonymization (Hashing)
Unlike traditional SMS gateways, our platform DOES NOT store recipient phone numbers in plain text format.
- All phone numbers are instantly transformed into irreversible cryptographic digital fingerprints (hashes).
- In the event of a database security breach, the real phone numbers remain protected and cannot be identified.
2. Right to be Forgotten (Self-Service Removal)
We respect the fundamental right of individuals to control their data. We offer a public self-deletion portal:
- Any phone number owner can request the deletion of their data from all customer lists on our platform.
- The process is secured by a verification code sent via SMS directly to that terminal.
- Deletion is final and instantaneous.
3. Data Collection
We collect only the data strictly necessary for the service operation:
- Billing data of the client company (VAT ID, Address, IBAN).
- Authorized email addresses for sending messages.
- Technical delivery logs (where numbers are masked for protection).
4. Data Sharing
Data is not sold to third parties for marketing purposes. The only data sharing takes place with telecommunications operators (Orange, Vodafone, Digi) strictly for the physical delivery of the SMS message.
5. Security
We use encrypted transfer protocols (HTTPS/SSL) and constantly monitor the platform to prevent unauthorized access.
